FESPA Digital Printing Europe 2008 |

As always, the quality of the exhibitors and FESPA's ability to bring them together for three days under the same roof, creates a unique environment. Indeed this environment has been manufactured to enable you, as print service providers, to seek out the innovations that could transform your businesses. FESPA Digital 2008 will be 40% bigger than 2006, and will once again offer visitors much more than the high-level product launches that are now customary of FESPA exhibitions.
Supported by its corporate and platinum sponsors HP, EFI, Gandi Innovations and Kiian, along with global technology partner Xaar, the event will open to a new FESPA Digital Daily Live presentation, which will take place in the foyer of the main entrance at the start of the show. FESPA Digital Daily Live will be an eagerly anticipated live interview, in which Val Hirst, editor of FESPA World magazine, will welcome visitors with brief highlights of the hot topics and news taking place on the show floor; including breakthrough product and technology launches being unveiled by exhibitors.
In addition, the ever-popular showcase theatre will feature free digital presentations, featuring well-known industry experts covering a comprehensive range of topics; while winning entries from the HP supported FESPA Digital Print Awards 2008, will be showcased in a prominent on-site display.
This year, for the first time, FESPA Digital 2008 will also be complemented by FESPA's dedicated Digital Textile Conference in the adjacent Crowne Plaza hotel (31st March & 1st April), giving digital textile printers - or those venturing into this growth application - the opportunity to combine a visit to the exhibition with a focused two-day learning experience.
FESPA events continue to provide the launch platform for suppliers to introduce new products and technologies to the marketplace, and Geneva will be no exception. Just some of the many hot news items planned for the show include:
The first showing of the enhanced SubZero range, the world leading inkjet UV system from UK company, Integration Technology Ltd; and the commercial launch of Screen Europe's Truepress Jet2500U printing solution, first previewed to wide acclaim at FESPA in Berlin. Cromajet will showcase its Digipress roll-to-sheet high-speed printer, while on show for the first time at a major European exhibition are EFI's VUTEk QS3200r roll-to-roll UV-curing printer and the high-speed Eurotech Pars UV printer from Turkey-based, Eurotech Printers.
There will also be new laminator introductions from Drytac, whose JM63 product represents the latest addition to its line of cold-mount laminators; and Kala, who will premier a new and innovative range of laminators for pressure sensitive materials up to 2m wide.
The show will also see the worldwide launch and full manufacturing demonstration of Contra Vision Digital XR, a digitally printable one-way vision glazing enhancement film from Madico Graphic Films; while American Biltrite is celebrating its 100th birthday at the event with the introduction of TransferRite Green, an environmental biodegradable application film. German company ASLAN Schwarz will also display its new bubble free technology, used for polymeric digital printing film.
Meanwhile, ITL will be unveiling its new Evo Sol inkset, its second generation eco-solvent ink; Triangle will present new additions to its UV Curable EasyFill PRO™ line; Sensient will show a revolutionary water-based, UV-curable sublimation inkjet ink for textiles; and
Swiss developer of high fidelity inkjet RIP software, ErgoSoft AG, will showcase the new version of its award-winning StudioPrint, PosterPrint and TexPrint RIP software.
