|Morgana Director on His Bike for Cancer Victim
Andrew Webster, co-founder and director of Morgana Systems has announced details of a charity bike ride that he will be undertaking in July of this year.
"I have volunteered to do a 300 mile bike ride from London to Paris over just four days," confirmed Andrew. "We leave London on July 11 and return on July 15."
Andrew's charity ride is aiming to raise money for Willen Hospice where former Morgana employee Frank Lewis recently spent his last days. "Frank was a well liked and respected employee who joined the company back in 2001. He was one of our installation team. Frank always had a smile on his face - something for which he will always be remembered," said Andrew.
Frank lost his battle with cancer on February 13, 2012, and will be sadly missed by his family, friends and colleagues.
"I want to raise as much as I can for Willen Hospice, Milton Keynes, but need to have sponsorship of at least £1,400 before the event begins or I won't be allowed to take part in the ride. I therefore need to ask all friends and associates in the print industry, and the Milton Keynes area, to donate what you can to this excellent cause," added Andrew.
With regard to his physical shape for the ride, Andrew does confirm that he has never ridden anywhere near this far, but is hoping to get into trim over the coming three months to ensure that he can complete the course!
The sponsorship for the event is being managed by Virgin Money Giving - a not for profit organisation that will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible.

Sponsors are registering now at the above address. Bob Usher, a long standing friend of Andrew, and MD of Apex Digital Graphics, has sponsored and already started the banter on the comments board too: "Don't ask me to apply the cream on your return, good luck and a great cause."
The print industry will also be encouraged to sponsor Andrew during the forthcoming drupa exhibition, taking place in Germany from May 3 to 16, where Morgana Systems can be found in hall 8B, stand A65.
