Print on gin and WIP

Well as research goes this has to be one of the best jobs in print.

Homemade and craft products all look more professional when labelled properly. There is a growing market for short run label printing and customers will pay for a design that lifts their product out of the home made look.

Home made quality is great to taste but not always matched in presentation. Call in the professionals, yes you lot… you may even get a few tasters.

Here is a summer recipe for somewhere new to stick your rhubarb.

Rhubarb Gin 313 - Cold infusion technique
Recipe Ratio
Fruit 3 - Sugar 1 - Gin 3
3 lb. of Rhubarb
1 lb. of Sugar
3 x 750 cl bottles of Gin

Method

Large fermenting bin with lid

Prepare rhubarb, chopped into inch lengths; add sugar to large fermenting bin and leave for 48 hours.

Add the gin to the fruit and what is now pink syrup.

Leave for as long as you dare, anything from two weeks to six months, depending on the intensity of flavour preferred.

Taste as often as you like to track the flavour!

When ready filter through muslin sieve and store in sterilised bottles. Label and share.

Then drink and enjoy!
