HP Indigo strengthens Four Create Print product offering

Developing innovative solutions, not only in production but also service delivery, Four Create Print ensures it continually enhances its product offering and strengthens its capabilities. The latest investment is in an HP Indigo 7900, which will run alongside its large format inkjet machines at its Warwick factory.

Four Create Print is part of the Swanline Group and this is the first Indigo purchased by the company. Swanline and HP are strategic partners and Swanline was the UK’s first company to have the HP FB11000 installed five years ago, and more recently a Latex 3200 at Four Create Print. Using HP Latex Inks the machine delivers high image quality, vibrant colours and is eco-friendly.

The new Indigo gives Four Create Print the capability to produce small format work in-house.
“We want our customers to think of us as a ‘one-stop-shop’. Nowadays more and more customers want to deal with one supplier, so being able to buy large and small format print from us is strategically important,” says Matt Ward, Managing Director.

Four Create Print differentiates itself by focusing on its service delivery and making life easier for the customer.
“Our customers want suppliers who can take the hassle out of their jobs, they want to be able to supply artwork and 2-3 days later receive their print. They want regular updates on progress but ultimately they just want their job, they don’t want to be bogged down with issues, so our job is to solve any issues with creative solutions and supply a high quality job,” explains Ward.

“Key for us is developing relationships with our clients and making it easy for them to deal with us. Whilst we work hard we also have a lot of fun along the way, and this is reflected in the way we communicate internally and externally, after all, communication with personality makes for a much better working relationship.
"We understand the levels of service required and our approach is to offer this. The team at Four Create Print is tasked with delivering service excellence and developing strong relationships with our customers.
“Purchasing the Indigo was all about ensuring we have the capability to offer our customers the service and products they are asking for. It delivers the quality and has the name that holds a lot of prestige in the market.”
The team visited the HP demo centre in Barcelona to put the Indigo 7900 through its paces before making the commitment to the press.

“It was the perfect fit,” Wards adds. “The press is fully loaded and includes the ability to print additional spot colours, including neon and metallics and has the heavy substrate option to enable it to print on carton boards and plastics. And we have found that even with the SRA3 format we can take on jobs that would traditionally be B2 litho work.”
To go with the press, Four Create Print has already installed a guillotine, die cutter and creaser; a laminator and booklet maker will follow. Four Create Print will also be looking to leverage the capabilities of the Indigo with new substrates, to offer customers a greater choice of materials. This again is an example of the continued focus and investment the company has on innovating for its customers.

“The Indigo enables us to offer customers an even wider range of products and be their strategic partner for anything requiring print. The possibilities are endless. It is a very exciting time for Four Create Print."
