There has never been a better time to Get Creating with YPS’ Business in a Box

Working from home is a reality that is fast becoming the new normal. Your Print Specialists (YPS) has launched the ‘Business in a Box’ to help people set up a complete business that can operate from home. It consists of an Epson SureColour SC-F500 digital inkjet printer, a PixMax heatpress, a Singer heavy duty sewing machine and a starter kit of thread, transfer paper and inks.

Georgia Brown, Sales Director for YPS, says, “For creatives and entrepreneurs, getting products and ideas to market can be restricted by costs, space, skills and, sometimes, financial barriers. This is before you even think about getting your dream of working for yourself off the ground. Our ‘Business in a Box’ provides the opportunity to bring your ideas to life affordably, with a small footprint and with no specialised skill requirements.”

“The ‘Business in a Box’ bundles were to be launched alongside the Your Print Institute hubs that were due to open initially in Newcastle, Manchester and London,” she adds. “While these openings are on hold until the outbreak of Covid-19 is under control, the concept of a cost-effective complete solution for a home printing business is potentially a source of hope for people looking to develop a new source of income.”

Anthony Devine from the Ministry of Upholstery, is one the Your Print Institute’s Ambassadors and he says, “Technology like the Epson SC-F500 simply did not exist when I first started my career over 25 years ago. Having technology with this level of quality and capability in your home is amazing. It present unprecedented opportunities to run a successful start-up business from your kitchen table, spare bedroom or garage and rivals any professional printer in quality. It is incredibly easy to use and beats other printers on delivery lead times and above all, on costs.”

Turning Unique Art into Business - Alison Murray has recently purchased an Epson SureColour SC-F500 from YPS in order to support a hobby that is fast becoming a home-based business. Based in Central Scotland, where she has a dog-boarding company, Alison Murray took up photography as a hobby and her interest in it has flourished. More recently, she has focused on a more unusual form of her art. “I am now taking photographs of smoke and then using Photoshop to create unique, colourful images based on the patterns. It is something that I really liked doing and it seems that many others love the images it creates.”

To turn this into a potential on-line giftware business, Alison investigated her options for printing onto various products, from canvas and metal, to cushions, mugs and coasters. “I received a lot of excellent help, advice and encouragement from YPS and I have to say the Epson printer is perfect for me. It is very easy to use and the colours are incredible. I am still in the early stages of using the printer, but I am really looking forward to taking advantage of all the options it gives me.”

Georgia Brown continues, “The ‘Business in a Box’ is a complete solution that allows people to run a business at home with no added overheads or unnecessary outsourcing. WFH can become a reality and the textile market is in fast growth, especially for personalised products, including home décor, clothing, promotional goods, crafting and giftware to name a few. We also encourage people to join a range of training courses and receive industry standard business advice from experience professionals.”

She concludes, “Although our Print Institute Hubs are not available to visit, our Ambassadors and other experts are available to help with all aspects of setting up and running your new print business.

We encourage you to visit our web site at www.yourprintspecialists.co.uk   or give us a call to discuss your business.”
