Latest JETRIX installation sees Engineer’s vehicles branded while there

The latest JETRIX installation by InkTec Europe provided the perfect opportunity for four of the engineer vehicles to be branded at the same time. While Elmtree Signs took proud possession of their JETRIX LXi7, the team were busy transforming the cars.

Based in Southampton for over 35 years, Elmtree Signs pride themselves on delivering an extensive range of large format projects. These include interior and exterior signage, wall covering, window graphics and vehicle livery. Therefore the JETRIX LXi7 LED UV printer with its 2.5m x 3.0m flatbed will be right at home, as it is ideal for exactly these sorts of jobs. Plus the cooler temperatures generated by the LED curing system enables a wider more unusual variety of media to be printed on.

When discussing the new printer, Ian Powell, Director at Elmtree Signs said, “For us, after looking at the large format printer options out there, going for the JETRIX was just simply the obvious choice. The extents of the jobs we are getting involved with are constantly expanding and so the versatility of this flatbed means it will really complement what we already offer. The objective is to use the new printer to deliver yet more new printing opportunities over the next few years.”

Ben Woodruff, Head of UK JETRIX Sales said, “It just made perfect sense to get the cars branded while we were doing the installation at Elmtree Signs. We knew they were great at vehicle livery and it was perfect timing as they could be completed while the team of engineers went through the complete process from installation, testing and training on-site of the new printer. What’s more they took the elements we wanted on the cars, came up with the design, then printed and applied it – all while our team were there.”
