Plockmatic Group To Bring World First Finishing Configuration To The Print Show

Plockmatic Group will put automation at the heart of its presence on its stand at The Print Show at the NEC in Birmingham from September 29-October 1, using its Plockmatic Pro Tour theme to showcase new technology designed to reduce operator intervention, improve productivity and help printers unlock new applications.

Returning to The Print Show this autumn with a 30% bigger stand than last year, its largest presence at the event to date, headlined by a world first automated finishing configuration and a series of major UK debuts focused on productivity, Plockmatic Group will demonstrate how automated finishing systems can help print businesses work more efficiently, reduce manual touchpoints and expand into higher value work, by bringing together live equipment demonstrations, specialist advice and a broader product portfolio that now also includes Renz.

The headline attraction will be the first public showing anywhere in the world of the ColorCut FB15000TO Pro configured with a new large capacity feeder, creating a fully automated production finishing system. While the cutting table itself was previously introduced internationally, The Print Show will mark the first time the complete configuration has been demonstrated.

The FB15000TO Pro is a fully automated cutting system that produces luxury packaging, labels, point of sale displays and so much more. It delivers exceptional performance with true B0 media handling and cutting depths of up to 10mm. Designed to support extended unattended production, the feeder offers pallet entry and can handle media stacks up to 700mm high, while the system combines intelligent registration with a five tool head that has oscillating, v-cut, active tangential and passive drag tools capable of processing a wide range of applications across labels, folding carton, POS, display, foam board and corrugated materials.

Plockmatic Group will also use the show to present several further introductions. These include the first formal UK showing of the ColorCut FB9550 Pro-T, a new flatbed cutter that supports active tangential cutting, active tangential creasing, active wheel perforating, kiss-cutting, die-cutting with passive drag knives and debossing in a single workflow. Other key features include automated feeding, sheet pre-placement and QR code driven job retrieval, which streamlines job production and supports efficient mixed and batch job processing; patented back mark scanning technology and SmartMark registration that ensures precise finishing. It can process materials from self-adhesive label stock to boards up to 3,000 microns thick.

Another highlight is the UK premiere of the Morgana VFX+ high capacity vacuum feeder, which is designed to support continuous booklet production through automatic tray switching and enhanced media handling. Also on show will be the Morgana NovaBind 300, extending Plockmatic Group UK’s offer in perfect binding with a system that combines entry level accessibility with advanced automation.

Alongside these developments, Renz will form part of the unified Plockmatic Group UK presentation, with the AP360 and MOBI 500 on display. Their inclusion under the same stand identity will underline the continued integration of Renz into the wider group and broaden the binding offering available to visitors.

“The Print Show proved its value to us in a big way last year, so for 2026 we’ve made an even bigger commitment,” said Ed Hudson, UK General Manager at Plockmatic Group. “We’re bringing our largest stand yet, a broader portfolio than ever before, and technology that shows exactly where finishing is heading - towards greater automation, less operator intervention and more opportunity for print businesses to diversify and grow. The world first FB15000TO Pro configuration is a major highlight, but just as important is the overall message behind our presence: we want visitors to see practical solutions to real production challenges and understand how much Plockmatic Group UK has evolved.”

Hudson added that the co-location of The Print Show and The Sign Show make this year’s event an especially strong platform for solutions that cross between commercial print, packaging, POS, display and signage applications.

Plockmatic Group UK’s presence at the event will reflect that wider market shift, with systems on show aimed at helping customers bring more work in-house, increase throughput and respond to changing application demands with greater confidence.
